After giving birth to my son Sam last year, Speaker Johnson refused to allow accommodations for me to do my job, even when I was so pregnant that the airlines would not allow me to fly. Four weeks after giving birth, I had no choice but to fly across the country with my newborn to vote against Trump's terrible budget because there was no other option. Women should not face discrimination for growing their family, no matter where they work. From proxy voting to parental leave, I'm fighting to make our system actually work for working parents."
