STATEMENTGOVERNMENT TRANSPARENCY

"In addition to making housing more affordable and accessible, my 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act builds on my years of work to bring accountability to public housing by including meaningful reforms to strengthen oversight, increase transparency, and protect taxpayer dollars. https://t.co/L6v8P0DBAe"

"Last year, I was proud to vote for the Working Families Tax Cuts, which became law last summer. This historic legislation prevented the largest tax hike in American history, delivered new tax relief for workers, families, seniors, and small businesses, and put more money in the pockets of hardworking Arkansans.   Here are some of the tax wins I've helped deliver in the 119th Congress. https://t.co/kblkdU4KLz"

"My team and I recently enjoyed visiting Calvary Academy in North Little Rock, touring their new gym, and hearing a wonderful performance from the student choir. I also had the chance to quiz students on their favorite Founding Fathers and discuss the importance of civic engagement as we celebrate America's 250th anniversary! #AR02 #Arkansas #A250 https://t.co/ildRjgHD5n"

"The Summit at Chenal Valley in Little Rock is doing great work helping Arkansas seniors get the care and support they need. I stopped by recently to see for myself. Residents Lola and Bill Hall were kind enough to show me around, and it was great to hear from residents about life at The Summit, the friendships they've made, and what they enjoy most about living there. Visits like this give me a better understanding of the needs of older Arkansans and the challenges they face, which is important in my work in Washington. Thanks to Resident Experience Coordinator Brittney Rains, the entire team, and all the residents for the warm welcome! #AR02 #Arkansas https://t.co/OYThXVyORG"

STATEMENTCULTURE & SOCIETY

"Every year on October 28, we recognize National First Responders Day and honor the brave men and women across Arkansas and our nation who run toward danger, answer the call in times of crisis, and put their own lives on the line to protect others. To our firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMTs, paramedics, 911 dispatchers, and all emergency personnel, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication to keeping our communities safe. We are grateful for all you do, today and every day."

STATEMENTGOVERNANCE & INSTITUTIONS

"Great to be in Perryville yesterday to celebrate the renovation and reopening of the long-abandoned U.S. Forest Service building! After more than a decade of work, this historic building has a new life as a community space, including for Perry County's 4-H program. While my bill to permanently transfer the property to Perry County works its way through the Senate, I'm proud to see this wonderful resource restored and put to good use for the people in this community. Thank you to Perry County Judge Larry Blackmon, Danny Crain, Extension Agent Blake Erbach, Mayor John Roland, and State Representative @MaryBentleyAR for their work and commitment to Perry County. I'm grateful to work alongside these leaders to strengthen our communities and ensure they continue to thrive. #AR02 #Arkansas #PerryCounty https://t.co/rrNIGlbl3J"

STATEMENTFOREIGN AFFAIRS

"After more than four years of wrongful detention, I'm glad to see the long-overdue release of American Stephen Hubbard from captivity in Russia. Having advocated for his freedom, I'm grateful to President Trump and his team for their efforts to finally bring him home. Perhaps this is a sign that Putin sees the handwriting on the wall: Russia is losing the war in Ukraine, and the only way out is through a successful peace negotiation. I urge President Trump to use every tool at his disposal to host a trilateral meeting of Russia, Ukraine, and the United States to find a path forward that ends this war, preserves Ukraine's sovereignty, and brings lasting peace to its people."

"Even before serving in Congress, I took a leadership role in supporting our Historically Black Colleges and Universities, including helping Arkansas Baptist College improve and expand its campus during my time as a community banker. For more than a decade, I have worked with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to advance these vital institutions through policy, funding, and greater philanthropy. This week's announcement of a @USDA grant for Shorter College marks another important step in that long-standing effort. Here in Arkansas, this work has produced $100 million in debt relief for the four #HBCUs in central Arkansas, along with a significant increase in private philanthropy benefiting these campuses. As Co-Chairs of the Bipartisan Congressional HBCU Caucus, Congresswoman @RepAdams and I are committed to enacting the IGNITE Act during the lame-duck session. The bill would create new competitive grant programs and encourage private philanthropy to strengthen technology on HBCU campuses. @ShorterCollege @uapbinfo @ArkBaptist @PhilanderSmith #HBCU #IGNITEACT"
